Time to give the 47 some attention, trans is getting noisy. Sheet metal is being sandblasted.

I figure while my tranny is out I might pull the drive shaft housing and put in a new clutch too. I don’t like doing things twice. The PO said he rebuilt the engine and I can see the new gaskets with sealer on them but I’ll check the compression anyways. And the crank seals for leaks.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Have made some progress but it coming along slowly. The fenders and tank are ready to paint and I did some more work with the wire wheel.

You are probably already aware of this, but just in case, and to save you some work later scraping off paint, don't forget to mask off any areas (like where the starter mates to the clutch housing) that need to allow good ground paths. Could be hard to track down electrical gremlins later.

That shows a lot of hard work in prepping it for paint...congrats on a job well done! Getting very close to the end!
