It seems like I am noticing a pattern here. Steiner seems to always blame the customer, saying there wrong, don't know how to install it, can't read the manual, or argue the manual is wrong and even go on to produce YouTube videos with false information or incorrect procedures. I think I will steer clear of that company and order from TM or someone else. Even if the parts come from Steiner at least the customer service will be better and more cooperative with returns?

I need to buy a new sediment bowl for my 59 cub and after reading all the leaking problems would like to know which one to buy and where to buy it. I have a fuel line shut off about 2 inches from the carb inlet so so don't use the bowl shut off.
What bowl would you guys recommend to be the best? Is Tisco a good product? Thanks for your help in advance.

Any of the forum sponsors at the bottom of this page would be able to help with a new or used sediment bowl. I personally would go with a used one.

At this point, I would not be afraid of one from Steiner. My theory is 90-100% of all these parts come from the same factory. I've never had anything but good service from them too.

To me, buying a used sediment bowl would be like buying used underwear. But that's just me.....

I have bought a ton of stuff from Steiners for JD's, Fergusons, IH and Farmalls and have never had a single problem. Including a fuel bowl for a cub and a SA. Just lucky I guess.

I have one of these Steiner bowls on the 75 longstripe. No issues to report!

I would ask and verify that those sold by Case/IH are OEM and not aftermarket.

I doubt IH made them even way back.
The company that did make them has probably changed hands several times.
The ones made today are no better than aftermarket.
