Cub blade ?
We plow snow with the straight blade. We wondered how to get more "scoop" without damaging the blade. Like side or end parts? Any ideas?

I've trained myself to plow in one direction. I cut a piece of rubber stall mat that is installed with some flat stock to keep snow from spilling out the left side of the blade.

Re: Cub blade ?
My blade is set max to the right, and midrange for tilt. I plow one direction and the snow just curls and rolls off to the right. To prevent spillage on the left, l only take half width cuts at a time after the initial pass.
My drive is a quarter mi long and l plow it 15' wide. Even in deep heavy snow it doesn't take me more than 45 min to an hour.

Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.

This is what I do. If the snow is too deep to push off to the side in one pass down the drive I take smaller bites sweeping from left to right lift, backup and do it again.
