We get this comic strip in our local paper and since it is syndicated, I'm sure some of you have already seen it. I immediately thought of all the folks on this forum when I saw it. Hope you enjoy it.

The term "Plugger" refers to one who is "plugging away". In the context of the strip, "Pluggers" are defined as blue-collar workers (rural Midwesterners in particular) who live a typical working-class American lifestyle, accompanied by a mentality characteristic of the veteran and Baby Boomer generations. Being a Plugger is a good thing.
