Yazoo riding mower hydroaulic lift?

Hey guys i need some help here.

I have a old as hell (i think, im guessing probably 70's) yazoo hydrostat front deck riding mower. It has a K582 23hp kohler twin spinning a massive 60 inch deck.

The deck lift is hydraulic. The damn thing is stuck in the "float" postion. The lever does not even move. So my questions are

1- Is there any way to free it up? The linkage is not binding its inside the control valve itself. I dont see any way to dissasemble.

2- I did find a good used one and ordered it...install looks easy but i have no idea how to bleed something like this....

any ideas?

Should self bleed once installed,---- just run the cylinder up and down a few times usually does it.
Also look on the end of the cylinders for a tiny plug. A lot of single acting cylinders have them to loosen and let air out.

Awesome thank you. I did notice there were some plug looking things that looked like they took a flathead screwdriver....bet thats what they are for.
