Woods Belly Mower Anybody know the paint color or code??

Wanting to repaint my Woods belly mower the original "rusty orange" color. Dont know what color it is or the code for it. Local dealer wants $24 plus tax for a quart or $15 for rattle can :cry:. I am to thrifty " cheap" to buy a can to find out and have more mixed.
Any help would be appreciated.

If you can peel some off - take it to Sherwin Williams and they can scan it for FREE!

I think we have some cans of woods orange at work. Let me know if you want me to get you a price..

I should have checked there first , didnt even think of it. :oops:

Now the :?: :?: Is the paint code (Burnt Orange #12703 ) specific to one brand of paint , if so which one , or can I bring that code to Sherwin Williams and get it?

That is usually the first thing I try. No orange left on it, been stripped off or paint is rusty. I will try locally but thanks alot for offering.

I think Sherwin Williams can cross reference it. I do have an updated set of chips here, will have a look and see what is there. I think also that Ken Updike at Carter & Grunewald can help you out with the paint as they are Woods dealers. He may have up to date info as well.
