Winter Warmup!

:) That is a lot of tractors set-up to mow with!

Do you have a team of operators to run them all at the same time?

How many acres you cutting?

These are 4 of the current 6 cubs. I have had a few others (plus a '48 SA I restored), and the final 2 are here at my house...one about to get kicked out to the farm, and the final one ready to move into the garage for a good going over. All run, but the most recent cubs (a '51 and 2 '55's) will be left in their work clothes.

My 2 sisters and I, plus a couple good friends, have had all 4 cubs mowing our 8-10 acres at one time...playing chase, chicken, square dancing, and generally having fun mowing!!
But most of the time it is I, alone, who am mowing...listening to the machine and/or my books-on-tape with my Bluetooth headphones!! :tractor:

Tried a few times to get some local folks to do that, but they snubbed the idea...too much trouble to bring all that equipment, I guess! There's even a dairy about 1 mile down the road, that I thought could use it, but they usually have a huge shed full of hay!

Very nice, Dale.

Also nice to see hints of green grass around your place. We’re currently experiencing a deep freeze—unlike our usual winter weather. Supposed to start warming up again middle of next week.
:hattip:

:) If you was my neighbor, I would be happy to hay it for ya!

I have a next door neighbor that was paying someone to mow about 1.5 to 2 acres. I bale it now!

She dont have to pay, and I get the hay!

Nice looking "herd" of tractors! :hattip:

I guess you don't want to come down here later on? Sure gets purdy here in North Carolina! And yes, you can take all that hay back, too! :D

I would be haying or graizing that! :)
If it's similar to where my land is there is no one who want to fool with it. Or they do it once and won't come back. If you want it to look good you just cut it.

I bush hog 5ish acres I guess in total. Before I let some grow up 20 or so years ago there might of been 6.5 acres of fields. . We tried to get someone to cut it for hay. I think they did it once and never came back. For years I would of loved someone to cut it 2 to 3 times a year and take the hay. Now a days I like to cut it myself. It's my tractor time. It seems like a chore at the time but I do like to run my tractor. I cut it with the 24hp Yanmar and a 5ft bush hog. But between that and the few acres I now in the lawnnon a zero turn it's a lot to keep up with. That and planting a acre and a half food plot in the fall that takes more time to do that. And I don't live on this property it's 3 hours from my house so I have to plan trips to there to get things done. And it makes it worse, grass grows in the summer of course, which is boating season, so anytime I go there for a weekend we can't be on the boat!

Hey Dale, what’s up with Cinderella? She doesn’t get a blanket? :(

Nice to see what grass looks like, after a few years with nothing we’re getting payback in the form of back to back storms. Not huge ones but it’s piling up. Unlike prior years it’s not melting between storms.
We keep saying to ourselves in a couple weeks it’ll be spring but right now it’s tough. It’s amazing how this white stuff can lock you up and prevent you from getting stuff done.
I tried to get the SA to the barn today and it couldn’t get thru the crusted snow.

Hey Dale, on another note if you mark your videos on YouTube as being “for kids” no one can leave a comment. If you change it “not For kids” I think everyone can still see it and we can leave comments (nice ones ;) ).
Youtube I think is doing a CYA thing with that.
BTW, like it ...

Also, 3 different mowers represented there, gotta ask which ones you favorite?

Sam brought this up...

And you mentioned square dancing ;)
You know as a sales tactic back in the day Farmall dealers used to hold demonstrations with Cubs square dancing, care to recreate that in your next video? :)

Yea if you mark a video for kids it means your target audience is for kids. It has nothing to do with it having kid friendly content. And that's correct if it's marked for kids comments are automatically turned off. Youtube got sued by the FCC for violating some child internet privacy act. I have no idea how the law was defined but they were sued line 7 million dollars by the federal government last year. I think it had something to do with they interpreted it by people making videos for kids or kids watching videos and then anyone could coment to those kids etc and it was an open line of communication...inviting predators I guess. Bad thing is that if you mark a video for kids or your channel as kids it's demonetized, meaning you don't make any money. If you don't mark it kids their system finds it and will change it as you have violated their policy that you had to agree too to post on YouTube.

I had to go back and change the settings on all of mine. I was thinking ya sure kids can see this. That was a mistake.

I never saw the cub one, that would be interesting!

But I have saw the Super C fast hitch square dance video on youtube!

How about a square dance with 4 Cubs, and for the partners, a 193 plow, 38 lift disk, 172 runner planter and 144 cultivators set!
That would be a long dance, since putting the planter on takes me about a hour if I remember right!

Next time somebody asks me where I see myself in 10 years, I'll have to write down the link to that video!
I’m there, two sheds, 6 tractors only right now only half run and none look that pretty.
