Sandy to sandy loam and fairly flat. It doesn't pull as hard as clay, but a lot of people think that it's ridiculously easy to work in sand when in fact it still takes a good deal of power--a Farmall M is a 3 plow tractor here for comparison.
Very rare to see any front wheel weights on a Super A--130. If the plow is set right they are not needed. Almost all had a set of rear wheel weights, some had fluid in the tires.
I currently pull a 2 bottom 14" plow with my Super A. It has a fast hitch and the plows I found are 14". Better suited for a 140 but it pulls it fine in 2nd gear about 8" deep. I am sure it has Fire Crater pistons in it though.
I'd like to find a single 16" plow for my '47 Super A for plowdays.
