As most of you know, our place is known, by us, as Shallow Creek Farm. Today we finally got a look at Shallow Creek.

Better there than in your basement. Those railroad ties must be diverting the water from it's normal course of flow and into the lower area in front of the new barn.

Wow, you might want to order a pair or two of these (Seriously, I hope it dries out for you soon. We received about 5" of rain over last weekend.)

We aren't getting anything like Missouri and others. We have had a lot of rain, but it is running off quite well. What you see I'm my pic is nothing more than a puddle that accumulated in the low spot in front of the shop.
