What is a truck farm

I keep hearing this phrase....So what exactly is a truck farm......I drive my truck by farms....does that count?

My wife comes from a truck farm family. 13 acres of vegtables. They had their own market that they sold their fresh produce at. Back breaking work even with a handy little Cub

I hate to see the old farming equipment rusting away in the fields. I would love to see how many would actually run again. ):

Come on Ronny, you know that in in Texas we don't plant Studebakers, we plant Cadillacs.

Any successful farmer knows to pay special attention to how deep, and how far apart you plant.... it looks like Jim's link supports this!
