Found these in a box of misc. tacks and brads. They are kinda soft , looks like rubber. who knows how old they are.

I was thinking grease zerk fitting cover/cap. I’ll see if they fit a fitting next time I go to the shop.

If they're only 1/2", probably tips for an old plant rack or something like that which used formed metal tubes for legs.
