Big thanks to Tim for finding me the piece I needed for my rock shaft to attach the plow blade as a grader blade! My mother-in-law's long gravel driveway seemed to wash out at least once a week this summer, and I had been using the plow mounted on the front of the cub to push the runoff back uphill, and then old bedsprings towed behind my truck weighted with 4 heavy chunks of pig iron. This took multiple passes and a stop, load the springs in the bed at the top of the hill, then another stop, unloading the springs at the bottom, with 4 chunks of pig iron at each end to load and unload as well.
I couldn't believe how well the mid mount improved the process, eliminating the bedsprings completely! This was my first time grading, and I was careful to not take too much at once. Keeping just a shallow line of gravel ahead of the blade and doing multiple passes seemed to work best at leveling and filling evenly, and this is definitely my favorite attachment now. My back is particularly grateful! Definitely some very clever engineers who designed all of these things to increase the cub's versatility!
