Well......

If you care to share, how (or why) did you come up with your user name? If it is top secret, thats ok!

For some of us here it is pretty obvious, but for others not quite so.

I use mine on all the websites, and it actually originated on the Red Square Wheel Horse forum back in 2007. At the time, Red Square had just a few active members (it has grown considerably since then), and there were 3 Terrys who were posting a lot, myself and two others. One of the Terry's thought it would be a good idea if we each had a username that wouldn't be confusing to others, so he became chose his username based on having a tricycle front customiized Wheel Horse, the other Terry became Vinyl Guy since he made vinyl labels for just about everything, and he named me T-Mo since I was the Terry from Missouri. I have been T-Mo ever since and on all the forums I'm a member of.

I wanted to commemorate the finest farm tractor International Harvester ever produced. (Which, BTW, is also 75 this year......)

My brother called my wife and I, 'The Urban Amish'. We lived in the Detroit suburbs at the time but were into old-timey things (knitting, soap-making, cider pressing, homebrewing, weaving, and the like). It got shortened to Urbish.

Seemingly a lifetime ago, I competed on motorcycles in motocross, enduro, hare scrambles and observed trials. I'm a racer at heart and still wish I could do it today. My first race was in 1974 and my last race was in 2005, competing at age 50. Alas, racing motorcycles is a young mans game and at some point I had to confess that I'm getting old. I still love all forms of motorcycle racing and follow it closely today.

While we’re on the subject of user names…
I’ve noticed over the last several years, some of the new members have used their email address as their user name. Easy to remember, but from the standpoint of internet security, I think this is a rather risky thing to do. Just sayin’.

I agree with Don.

Rule 4A of the forum rules. The posting of personal, real-life information such as home addresses, email addresses, schedules and home phone numbers is strongly discouraged.
