Trespassing Signs/Problem Neighbors

Thinking horses and the neighbors with horses.

I have some older retired neighbors with horses, and when I bought my place they asked to be able to ride once in a while. I said ok and for years they would ride once in a while and it was just fine. Always when it was dry out!

But.....

One spring a some years ago I went for a nice walk, but what I found was not too nice! It was a wet time, and my neighbors with the horses decided to ride (more than usual too), and really tore up my trails, so much so, that I had to walk around all the mud! (I hate mud!)

I was fuming!!! So mad that I went up and sat in a bench swing for about a hour to calm down before going to confront them!

When I went over, she invited me in, but I stayed outside and politely told her how shocked (and disappointed) I was of what they did and told them to not come back!

What really surprised me is how she was sluring her words and was clearly drunk!

Bottle likely has fingerprints on it.

Thats funny, around my neck of the woods they dont bother to check finger prints for a break in and theft of around $8000 of tools.

The bad part is there was clearly a perfect hand print in the dust on the hood of my truck!

Well..... I better quit talking before I get in trouble!

About a week ago the neighbors were with their kids, picking up the kids after school. I ask if they were the people who had been sleding on my property. The mother said that they did it. I politely ask them not to be on the property again. Another neighbor, elderly widow, was talking twith the group at the time.

Today, the elderly widow was alone, walking with two wild geese on her son's property, adjacent to my gravel lane. Told the elderly widow that she had free access to the acreage. The elderly widow goes for walks and picks up fossels, pretty rocks, arrow heads.

The two wild geese were following her around like puppys. She started to drive to town and the geese were flying right along side the car. She turned around and went back home because she didn't want to get the geese killed. During the conversation she said that she was going to town to buy feed for the geese.

I remember when the DNR were reintroducing geese many years ago.
They are nothing but a nuisance now.

A friend and myself call them sky carp! Tried eating them years ago, Nasty! He tried a few more times before giving up!
