Tractor Cover

Unfortunately, this winter one of the Cubs needs to live outside. My builder can't even think about adding on to the shop until Spring. Does anyone know of, or make, a tractor cover that will fit a 48 Cub?
This tractor likely lived outside most of its life, but he is semi retired now and needs some better treatment. He was a bit of a mess when I got him and I would like keep him in better straights.

How about one of the better tarps (HF or other) and half a dozen ratchet straps? If you removed the steering wheel you could cut a small hole for the shaft to go through and then run some duct tape, etc. to seal the hole.

Check out the outdoor tarp sheds sold by Home Depot and others. HD has a 8’x14’ for $188. They are quite serviceable. I’ve used them. Or take Bob’s suggestion if you’re not going to be using the cub much. I’ve done that before, also

I considered this, unfortunately I have had the wind here carry away heavy weighted down tarps to never be found again. A canopy just won't stay put. Thanks anyway.

I just bought a tractor cover off the jungle website. It is called (Waterproof Tractor cover compatible with ford 8N/9N).
I don’t have much feedback about it yet, but I figure that a cover for the ford 9N dimensions are about as close as you can get to a cub unless the cover is actually made for a cub.
Good luck

I saw that. Still wondering about the exhaust stack. Thanks for the input.

I concluded, at least for me, the cover can cause more problems than it solves with animals and trapping dampness. I leave them out uncovered in a sunning area away from trees and start them once a month

I wish that were possible. This tractor needs to live at my cabin nearly 100 miles away on an unplowed road. Normal is a two, three foot of standing snow possible, to max out at four to five foot at times.

I would take the muffler off, place a can over the exhaust pipe, build a small frame, shrink wrap it leaving the bottom 6 inches uncovered for air circulation,Also place a few rags soaked with peppermint around the tractor, keeps the critters away. Just an idea, or a good heavy tarp.

I'm going to spray it down with Rataway. Seems to work. Got a cover delivered just today. I'm hoping it only has to live outside until Spring. Thanks.
