If you want , repair with braze .
Remove all oils ,and hydraulic components. Grind 45 degrees chamfers into the block surface for braze clean it good with non chlorinated solvents or degreaser
Pre assembly of block to flat surface and braze open side ,remove and braze the machine surface . Does this outside the shop.
Mill it flat , then reassembled.
This is as simple as I can describe , but will take you some time . If your handy ,it’s what I would do ,cause it’s not that difficult for me to do. Pre heat with cutting torch or rose bud . Cool it slow ,cover with leather or ag lime . I’m not that good with stick weld cast ,but your block is made with a quality cast iron .will be fine with nickel cast iron rod only .don’t use Steel rod ,it will crack around the welded joints ,
Use color temp crayons to make sure it is pre heated to proper temperature .
Problably forgot some things ,take your time to do it right.
