The future?

Why are the idiots worried about a bird taking a dump over a field when a local dairy that milks over one thousand cows three times a day and are continually spreading manure on the fields that produce food that we eat.

I'm sure this is not news. Regulations have been putting greater and greater strains on farmers for decades. My Grandfather had a full production dairy in the 50's, from raising feed to pasteurization and a bottling plant to doorstep delivery routes. He was forced to sell raw milk to the large commercial processors and shut down his own plant, which operated flawlessly for years before the regulations. It's beyond time for the bureaucrats to apply some good old fashioned common sense.
