Super A clutch set-up

I'm swapping out the pressure plate on Old Ugly the Super A for one with better fingers. When we install it, what height do the fingers need to be set to? (My service manual doesn't tell much about the clutch.) The fingers are going to be better, but not perfect. Is there a way to adjust them to compensate?

Al, in the pdf manuals link there is a section of the list called Preventative Maintenance Manuals. The only thing in it is two manuals for Cub/140/240/340. Perhaps something in the 140 clutch section will translate to your SA.

There is a procedure found in the PDF Manuals, Super A, Super A-Super AV manuals. The bottom listing in the Super A-Super AV is Blue Ribbon CHS-12 Clutch adj Super A&C, H&M OCR. It describes a installed adjustment procedure for the pressure plate and you will find pressure plate bench specs. on the last page.
