Before completing my last project on the tractor of replacing the bearings and seals of the left side final drive i had no issues with hydraulics.
Today, after replacing all fluids I went for a test drive to make sure the final drive was good and found that the touch control for the belly is jammed in the up position. The rear hydraulics and control function fine.
Also, after sitting for 24hrs the belly arms will lower to the ground and even rest on the tire. After starting the tractor the belly hydraulics will raise itself after about 20 seconds. At which point the touch control will return to its jammed state. The touch control raises in unison with the belly tool bars at just after startup on its own. Any idea where to start on this?
I did notice while the tractor was inside being worked on that I was dripping what appeared to be hydraulic fluid. I filled the reservoir but no change was identified. The leak is near where the steering column runs but coming from a box that has metal hydraulic lines running to it.
