I bought a Sweepster (not the IH version but one for a smaller lawn tractor) with plans of mounting it to the grader blade linkages on my Cub. I have a huge concrete driveway but live on a gravel road so it gets very dirty throughout the year. The sweepster will be great if I ever get to that project. Anyway, as previously noted, Sweepster/Jenkins is still in business and not too far from me in Dexter Michigan. I called them to find out what speed the brush should rotate at so I could get the proper pulleys for the cub. They were very friendly and helpful and they e-mailed me a repro manual for the model I got. Replacement brushes are still available and you can find local dealers via their web site. They are offered in metal and plastic depending on the terrain you are sweeping and you can mix and match if you want and yes, definitely store it with the brushes off the ground. Leaves and walnut shells should be no problem. I didn't know they made a model for the Cub so thanks for the pictures!
