Ok. Call me a techno nerd NOT, I am fine with it. But, can someone please tell me where the plans/photos of the various front and back vub splitters are located. You can even make fun of me, I have tough skin.

Plywood Splitting Stands" but when I click on the pictures I get a message that I do not have permission to view it. ?? Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated.​

 
I get the same message. So undoubtedly there’s a glitch or an admin will have to perform their magic. Just my guess

I had that same issue yesterday. Maybe Dennis will see this thread and investigate.
 
I made my splitting stands out of the trailer tongue jacks...only about $30 at the time...from either Northern Tool or Harbor Freight. No welding involved, just nuts and bolts, plus drilling appropriate holes in a heavy duty steel plate that the jack bolted to and then in turn was voted to the clutch housing with 5/8" bolts.
I've used them for years, and they allow for rolling the two halves apart.20240314_110726_copy_567x1008.jpg

I usually use a rolling engine hoist for the front, but some folks have made a similar trailer jack setup that bolts to where the starter is bolted. I don't have a photo of it though.

Some have asked how I made the stands, so here you have it.

The pair of splitting stands that I have are ones that many people have purchased. After just a very few uses, I was less than satisfied with their functionality. Using the excellent How To http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=37936 prepared by Gary Boutwell, I added a few things to meet my needs.

I will give just a few dimensions because the stands themselves will depend on the size of casters you use. The uprights will depend on the size of both the casters and the scaffold jacks you use.
