I recently acquired the family Cub. I rebuilt the engine over the winter. Things are great with that. However, it came with a spare engine.
What would you all do if you had a spare engine laying around and your cub already has a newly rebuilt one?
Sell it as is?
Keep it as a spare?
Give it a full overhaul and sell it?
Give it a full overhaul and keep it as a spar?
Or something else?
I put it on an engine stand to keep it off the ground. Turns freely. No distributor, no starter, no generator.
I enjoyed rebuilding the other engine for what that's worth.
Judging by the head bolts, I suspect it's been rebuilt before, and not that long ago, but I have no idea if it was running when it was pulled.
