Finally installing an electric assist steering unit from a Saturn Vue on a Cub. I can't find the terminal listed in the subject line. I've checked auto parts, Rockauto, Amazon, Ebay, etc. Hoping someone can steer me to a source. Most are 1/4" wide which won't work with the male spade being 3/8" wide. Thanks for leads.

Bob, have you contacted Brillman? https://brillman.com/

They may have or know whom you can contact.

I was going to suggest McMaster. I took a quick look there and didn't see any that width.

What exactly do you need, and how many?

I need to extend wiring to facilitate mounting. There are two double male plugs on the "control" box. I have one double female plug, but need two single female terminals to plug into the other male plug. I looked for a wiring harness, but couldn't find anything that old or even a part # for a wiring harness if it was even available now. Last resort would be to use a terminal for 10-12 gauge and solder the wire into the terminal. Amazon has those for 10-12 gauge, but nothing I can find for 8 gauge wire.

you can but a # 8 ring terminal and just cut the end so it is the width you need . go to a electrical supply house they sell them in #6 and #8

I can't visualize how this would work in place of a female connector. Thanks for all the suggestions. Found a few for 8 gauge but none that were also 3/8" wide.

I looked around here. I thought good used on a pig tail might work okay. Most were 1/2. Found a few smaller, turned out to be 1/4.

Check a trailer supply. I think the narrow lug on the emergency brake batteries might be the right size.

just did one recently on a 1910 ford tractor, it was used to connect the harness to the ignition switch, got the terminal from napa

Bob when I was at Napa they just handed it to me, was not in a package, will see if I can find more info

Bob, this looks like it fits the bill. But I’ve never ordered from here, so I can’t recommend. Not a fan of the website and they admit that order may be returned due to shipping difficulties. But that’s pretty normal nowadays with usps. I have two current orders made from different companies that have been lost apparently. So order at your own risk
