Shop Made DIY Disc Hiller Mid Mount Tool Bar

Hi,

I don't currently have a set of cultivators for my Farmall A. I was considering making a mid mount tool bar and putting disc hillers on it to hill my rows. I could make it from 2x2 square tubing, hinge it off the front cultivator mounts, and lift it with my belly mower hand lift.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this or maybe has already created something like this?

Well I have thought of doing the same myself . I have nothing to add but would love to see your progress if you decide to do this .

Tilmor makes a tool bar and mounting brackets specific for Farmall. They are pricey but work well and are heavy duty. I have one and like it. Check out the link below.

If you’re a better welder than me you could probably fab something similar to their design for less money.

Tilmore had kind of inspired this thought. I was hoping to do the same thing but cheaper.

Any thoughts on using the belly mower hand lift with something like this?

If you have the front cultivator mounts go to Ag Supply and get the knuckles and hillers.
