shipping parts

I know with the gas prices along with everything else it has all gone up, so if you ship Cub parts or anything else and use the flat rate boxes which were the best way to go is no more, USPS has shrunk the box sizes and raised the rates so you are aware, medium box $24.00 large box $34.00, bubble envelope $15.00 and they will be raising all the rates again next month again, I know we cannot get in the car and deliver it ourselves for less but it is getting more to ship parts then to buy them

So if flat rate isn't the best way what is? Or no one size fits all? The box you shipped me came in a flat rate box. For me the PO is closest. Vern

I found tha flat rate is only good if shipping something heavy. I ship a lot and use usps online. A ten pound package from Ohio to New Jersey with flat rate is $21.17, priority is $18.62 and ground advantage is $14.44. However, a 15 pound package will be close to the same for all types. The only problem with ground advantage is that you cannot use a USPS box that says Priority on it.
