You are right, we got hammered. I was snow blowing at the beginning and then threw the impellers belt. No way the cub would push this stuff so I got out the Ferguson TO35 with the old Ford snow plow and chains and muscled through it. Here is what stinks...our sidewalk has to be cleared within 24 hours (give or take) and it is between our 6 ft rock retaining wall and right on the curb. There must be 3 foot of salted, sanded road crud that I have to clear. I guess I will be working on the snowblower in the morning.....

We complain about a big storm of 12-16", but Ricky up there in Michigan gets about 1 a week and gets it done
 
We got about 12” of confectionary sugar. Dense windpacked snow.
Cub struggled. Ariens 28” with 10hp Snow King came through again. Cub will clean up what remains tomorrow and the Mahindra Loader will move some piles.
Can’t imagine having 38”+ like Providence, RI.

Hey, Don, don't blame me for that stuff. The Lake Erie snow gets sorted out long before it gets to you. 😇 Our really cold temps in February had Lake Erie over 90% frozen over, so we were spared significant lake effect snow. Our gas bill went up by many dollars for the simple reason we used a third more gas at the higher unit price. I had even turned the thermostat, in the Cubhouse, down to 50 degrees.

I know you’re not personally responsible, Bill. 😀
Probably 70 to 80 percent of the snow we get here in Mountain Maryland is lake effect from Lake Erie. It can sometimes extend down in to Virginia, too.
