Rusty tank

what ever you coat the tank with you need to clean out the rust 1st or the coating is useless
Yea did that first with gravel what a mistake then vinegar. Has it pretty clean rinsed it and dried as fast as possibly but surface rust came as soon as it dried. The heavy rust is gone just need to peotect it now

por 15 dries like cement and plugs any leak, good stuff, when hosing out the tank use baking soda to keep it from rusting again

Once the tank is clean, I use STA-BIL 360 Marine in the gas and try to keep the tanks close to full to keep the rust away.

I had one tank coated by a radiator shop that also repaired some pin holes. Not the biggest fan. Not sure if it is the work of the shop or the product they used. There keeps being a lot of red material in the sediment bowl.

Vinegar is a great choice for cleaning....Mild acid....done both HD tanks and tractor tanks.....I am not a big fan of coating tanks....Thats just me......
