We would like to get a head count for the Cubfest ( Sept. 10-12, with early arrivals on the 9th). Please reply to this post with the days you'll be here. Our celebrity Cajun chef has offered to do his world famous jambalaya and I hope William will be baking blackberry pies. Unfortunately the peach season ended early this year, so we won't have any. Also, the Dougherty Museum will now schedule tours after their Labor Day closing. If enough are interested, we'd probably do it after lunch on Saturday. Those leaving early could leave from there. Probably need about 2 hours or so. In addition to a multitude of antique tractors and farm equipment, there is a fantastic selection of restored cars. Most are 1900-1930 vintage. Packards, Pierce Arrow, RR, Franklin, Stanley Steamers, Locomobile ($8200 when new!), Cadillac, etc. Looking forward to seeing you all and hoping for some new faces!
