I would bet that it would be much cheaper if you don't already own the acid to go the electrolysis route vs the acid method.

I am studying electrolysis process. The problem is that electrolysis takes a long time and it cannot be done with painted parts

I dont know acid price in USA, but in Brazil is very cheap.

Here, one liter of acid Chlroridric(hcl) is 10 Reais, it corresponds to approximately u$ 2 . How much does it cost in usa?

Laboratory grade HCl runs from $12-18 per liter. Muriatic acid which is about a 30% concentration is easier to find and also much cheaper. I'm not sure what concentration you use.

Here, we had 30 years of left(socialist) government. Thanks to god, we now have a serious government who will a make a tax reform. Never lose freedom and the American lyfestyle.

I gave it zync bath. 70% of the bolts are original from my cub. They were very very rusty before re coat. 30% are new similar Brazilian Bolts.
