Radiator issue

Was mowing the neighbors yard and noticed the water temp started getting up higher in the green. Normally just stays in the white. So I added a gallon of coolant. Was probably more than I needed, may have spilled some but don't remember. Then went back and finished their yard. Since then its been dripping. Used an air hose and blew all the coolant away but it builds back up. As you are looking at the radiator from teh front there is a wet area on the right outer third. The bottom tray area is holding it, and it is slowly dripping. The level inside hasn't gone down any noticeable amount. Put a bucket under just to see how much I've caught.

Doesn't make sense that I'd get a leak all of a sudden. However I've driven it some since winter and even mowed my yard last week and it didn't get hot like this. My 300 did that once just got hot all of a sudden and needed coolant.

So did I develop a leak, or is this due to over filling it? When I was mowing I was mowing a side ditch so it was angled to the driver side left for one pass then the driver side right for a couple more. Hoping I don't have a leak but can't think of what else it could be.

I just had to replace the rad on one of my 140s. My guess is it's probably leaking but you will know if it keeps losing water.

Checked this morning and everything was dry.
So glad it was dry. But has me wondering why it was leaking in first place now. Guess I'll just keep an eye on it.

Is the level still okay after it quit leaking? Make sure it didn't just stop leaking because the level is now down to the leak.

Update my brother's father in law came out and looked at it, said there is a leak. So have it pulled. my Dad's 3rd cousin still works on radiators some so dropped it off with him and he's going to check and fix it.

So any idea what caused the leak. Seems odd for it to just start leaking.

Well, not really sure. The guy that fixed it said it was an after market radiator and had been "fixed" before in the same area it was leaking. So I'm guessing the leak just sprung back open or something.
