Quiet line ISO mounts

Does anyone know, or have used, another style engine isolation mount, other than original equipment? I've been told that NAPA has a shock mount which is the same. Maybe one of you Guru's knows.. Thanks

I know very little about the “newer” Quiet lines, but have stumbled on a little info that may help…

I gathered there are three common options; Replace with original equipment, replace with a similar rubber mount and replace with solid ones….

Sway bar repair kit to replace Quiet Line ISO mount rubbers; NAPA # 265-1285

There is a guy that makes solid replacement mounts, he does first class work.

Oh, and proper tightness is a must, has to be “just right”… to quote someone: Long ago people discovered that there was less vibration by only tightening them such that 2 threads were showing above the nut. If you tighten them to the spec in the instructions you'll probably squash them.

Almost ready, David. hehe. I ordered a new stator for this engine since it had the wrong amperage for the electric clutch, and didn't want to transfer it from the old engine, since I'm still using it.(not sure it's all that good lately) That put me behind a bit.. It's not going to be just "bolt on, and go" unfortunately. There's some crankshaft and exhaust issues to overcome as well. I know the mounts are bad, and was trying to get as much beforehand as possible. Oil pan, blower shroud, (cut out for aspirator and regulator) etc.. I'll check out those links from work tomorrow. Thanks!!
 
Snubbers, huh? Mine's never had them as long as I've owned it.. I'm guessing, since most of the engine compartment was melted when I got it, that I overlooked these items. Those were helpful, Thanks David..
