I have a 1980 IH cub 184 loboy. serial number 51930. it has a brass plate from the US navy on it. You can tell the tractor was originally yellow as it is bleeding through the red IH someone painted. that is what all the navy ground equipment were painted to identify easily on airfields and such grounds according to chat GBT. My questions are how rare is it and what is it worth? Who painted it yellow, IH or Navy? not currently running. pictures attached.

The Navy apparently had a bunch of them, my brother has one. I would certainly consider them rare but not particularly valuable. As a fleet order, IH would have painted them industrial yellow, the Navy added it’s inventory plate.
