Poppet checks in touch control cylinder block

Hi all,
Farmall Cub newbie here. I recently got a 1954 Cub. It runs great but was leaking hydraulic oil heavily, so my first attempt at repair is to rebuild the touch control system. I bought the seal and gasket kits, and I'm reassembling now, but the larger of the two plastic poppets (with 6 fins) has wear and some embedded metal on the "nose" . I can only find the smaller one for sale. Does anyone have a replacement source for this small plastic part? Or would it work if I gently chucked it into a lathe and carefully sanded the worn area smooth? If I do, I'm afraid it'll weaken the part.

Thanks for any feedback.

Hi,
Would you post the IH part number on the left side of the Touch Control unit, so we know.
1954 was when IH changed from one number to another, Raymond Durban's database on here shows. :)

Thanks for the response. The number on the unit is 860719-R1. The "8" is a little murky. it could be a "0"
