Had to take Mom to an eye appointment but managed to get the studs installed and the manifold set in place. Need to find the torque specs and tighten it down.

A little more progress. Pulled the end cover on the governor to get the timing mark cleaned up and rotated the engine around to get the cam gear in the right orientation. Then installed the upper water pipe and set the governor in place.

Put some RTV on the valve cover gasket, taped it in place, and let it sit overnight. Its stuck in place now. This tractor didn't come with pushrods so I grabbed the ones from our parts BR. Turns out the early models used a touch shorter pushrods. This year uses the same as all of the styled John Deere B's. Had a set from a parts tractor that I cleaned and installed. They have some pitting but should work. That made it so I was able to adjust the valves. The new Harbor Freight transmission jack worked great for installing the front cast frame. Still need to tighten it down after I clean up a couple more bolts that I missed.
