Picked up a John Deere BO at auction

Got the mig welder rolled over and tacked some tabs on the cup/plug and used the slide hammer with the vise grips on the end to pull it out. It had a little rust and sludge behind it like the rest of the trans/rear end had. Got it fairly clean and now need to install the other cup/plug.

I put the dash/steering support in the E-tank overnight and pressure washed it this morning. Cleaned up pretty good. The clutch lever had a lot of wear in it so I went and checked the 2 other parts tractors. The first was worse but the second one I got the cup/plug out of had very little play. Brought it to the shop and removed it from the steering post. The pivot bolt is nicer also with no vise grip chew marks on it.
