not a welder so I built my version of a "splitting stand" to support the front of the tractor while i dismember its front feet for paint and powdercoat. material is 11/16 exterior plywood glued and gusseted...shouldn't go anywhere. front jack stands were left in place until glue cures.
The offset design makes for weird physics to get your head around when jacking up this little guy. Height of it is a real problem.
Even with the wood wedges it just gave me the creeps so i strapped the rear axle to the stands with tie downs...

I've wasted way to much time trying to find the Cub Photo Host with no luck. What is the path to get there?
Ricky, I hope this helps. The site had crashed and I saved as much of it as I could. Since the crash, I have lost my rights as an administrator to it and cannot make any updates. There is new software available that makes transferring pix and such so much easier. However, since I do not know how to program software so all the pix stay with that new software, I am afraid the site will slowly fade away and we will eventually lose a lot of pix that are posted on this forum.

Try as I might, I can't find the Cubfest Photo Host anywhere. I can click on the link that Bill posted above but there has to be a path to get there and I can't find it.

Is there any chance you or someone you know downloaded an image file of a diagram showing how to fabricate a splitting stand out of plywood?
Title would be something like "plywood splitting stand". Picked up a new (to me) cub and I've misplaced the file.
