Part (hitch?) identification help

The last set of pictures will help tremendously with helping you piece things together. While you don’t have a fast hitch, the help spring can still be mounted on the tractor if your hydraulic rockshaft has the helper spring tab. A pic of the left arm of hydraulic lift would tell us whether it’s there or not
Thanks! Here's a photo of the left arm of the hydraulic lift and the right arm just in case. Is the top bar with the split pin what would hold the rod with spring? And if so, what would it be used for? Thanks again for humouring me!

Your TC does not have the part for the assist rod and spring. It would be a short piece of flatbar similar to the one in your picture but welded to the round shaft. Here's a picture. Stan

Hi,
IH started putting the arm for the helper spring on the Touch Controls in about later 1954, when the Fast Hitch came out on Cubs.

In your earlier post Jim Becker called part B a substitute hitch. There is a part called a substitute drawbar that is used to mount the leveling blade in the midmount position. The b&w picture from the manual shows the drawbar reversed for mounting in that position, Your's looks similar to the substitute drawbar in the second picture. Stan

Thanks. Good idea, but it's not wide enough to attach between the wheels. It doesn't seem to line up with anything on the tractor 🤷🏻‍♀️. Thanks for the thoughts though. I re-organised everything in the lean-to today and I seem to know what everything belongs to, except for that grawbar-looking thing and a couple smaller parts which aren't needed for any of the bigger items, so all good I think. Thanks so much! You've all been super helpful! ☺️
