There is not much of a demand for the decks. Most people do not want to mow with them, although a good one does a very good job of mowing, and they can become a pain taking them to shows, specially if you try to load several Cub Cadets on a trailer with decks on them - too wide and you can't get two tractors sided by side on most trailers. If you restore one for show I would recommend you leave the blades off. The deck has a belt tightening clutch affair on the deck rather than a PTO clutch on the tractor, and even with the deck "disengaged" the belt will drag enough to cause the mower blades to turn if the tractor is running.
