Original cub decals

I was lucky enough to purchase a set of original Cub Decals, was wondering what y"all thought about the chances of being able to actually use them. I would not want to try if I thought
they would not stay on etc.. They have been rolled up in the original box for arounf 75 years, do you think the decals would staighten out after being soaked in water for a while?
 
Thanks, Well I kind of thought that my be the case, I have only put a few on and they were the new style. These are the first I have seen or heard of that were waterslide decals, does that make things even more difficult or fragile?
 
Water transfer decals can be challenging, anyway, and when they get old, very difficult to work with. I agree with Tim, they will likely just fall apart when you try to transfer them. Give one a try on something not important, to see what happens.
 
never had any luck with any old ones! new ones are bad enough! I dont mess with any decals anymore anyway! --- What you could do is roll them out and copy them and have that style to have vinyl ones made from them. Not same material as old ones but only you would know the difference. Not many people pay any attention to them.
