Orientation of Ignition Drive Oil Seal

I'm guessing I probably installed the Ignition Drive Oil Seal backwards. Based on the pictures below can anyone confirm whether it is correct or not? Thank you!

Seal lip goes on the oil side - inside - towards the idler gear.

Distributor side photo appears correct.

Looks to me you got it correct.

is the spring in the seal ? cannot see it, lube the seal before putting gear in it

Yes, the spring is in the seal. Thank y'all so much for helping me. Hopefully I will finish the complete rebuild soon.
