The front tires on the Allis G and the Rear tires on the Ford N I picked up are intact but will need new tubes and some rim repair.
I’m a little worried about dismounting them as I’m afraid of them coming apart. The tires on the Ford will be expensive to replace and the fronts on the G are Cub sized so while not expensive they look to be original or nearly original tires I’d like to keep on there.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I treat these tires maybe with something that might soften them up and be less prone to coming apart ?
I know that’s a long shot but doesn’t hurt to ask.
