Does anyone know the stock number for a fram oil filter or one i can buy from walmart for a 1947 farmall cub?

AC P-321
Fram C-235
NAPA 1153
Wix 51153
Purolator L2008 or L2009
Fleetguard LF-672

Fram does not include the gasket
Wix and NAPA include the gasket
Not sure about the others.

On the other hand, you might want to check your local Tractor Supply stores. I've been catching the Fram filters on clearance for the past few months at 79 cents each. I still turn them up once in a while in stores that I thought I'd already cleaned out. Picked up a couple more a few weeks ago. And if you can find them, a 232 size o-ring works well as a gasket. I think I gave like 50 cents each on those.

Finally got the scoop on why TSC has been almost giving away Fram filters for the past few months. Our local store now is stocking WIX filters. No more Fram.
But, so far none to fit a Cub.

Hmmm...I'll call tomorrow, but the online flier for my local NAPA only shows their PLATINUM, not GOLD (#1153), filters on sale. Thanks for the heads up!

Most TSC stores to my knowledge swiched over to Purolator filters. But what do I know. I only work there part time, part of the time.

Frams are made cheap and have less filtering material than Wix or NAPA filters (which are made by Wix.) I'm sure there are others that are good, but Fram makes no sense to me anymore, although I bought into its commercial portrayals like so many others for years. No more.

Cutting them open shows the difference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Imq39p0_YTA

In YouTube search bar, you can type "The worst oil filters on the PLANET!!!"

Why would anyone sell one without the gasket? Doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Barnyard, you didn't mention Baldwin in your list? I happened to be 1500 miles away from home in the South of France recently and bought a filter from xxx oops will follow that up.

The attached photo shows my current filter stock consisting of the Baldwin, a NAPA and the remains of what looks like a suspiciously ancient (original?) filter that I replaced a couple of months ago.
