New Woods 59 blades

I just got an AWESOME deal on a Woods 59 mower for my 51 Cub.

Got it mounted with a lot of "search" help from this site and a great YouTube video. Sharpened the blades and the cut is great......but........they are old and the sails are worn. I'd like a little more lift. Searches on here produce little for the "59".

Is there a recommend source for new blades ???

Hi,
Below is the owner's manual for a Woods 59-C-2 mower. I don't know if that is the model you have, but you can look at the manual. The mower may have an ID plate or sticker on it somewhere, some of them were on the rear shield.

It has info about the blades on page 17, and on that page, number 14 is the Spindle Lock Wrench.
It is handy to have to hold the pulley and shaft from turning, while removing the bolts that hold the blades on. :)

As always, the place to go for anything..............

I'll start with Williams, if that doesn't work out I'll try Messicks.

Anybody ever get anything from Ballard or Oregon ?

Thanks again !!!

look at the blade, woods stamps the part # in them, you can just punch that # in the search and buy aftermarket blades a lot cheaper

I will try that also......had anyone already done it and has a recommendation for what and from who ??? Just trying to not reinvent the wheel if it's already been done.
