The county (or State) just installed two flashing mobile signs: one for northbound, the other southbound. They say "Caution Watch for Elks!" I haven't seen any yet, but there must have been a herd that was spotted and possibly headed towards the highway.

Our flashing signs in Michigan just say to "slow down" or "too fast" and post your speed. I don't know what they say otherwise.

Well, if they didn't say "Elk Crossing" you're good. They are not allowed to cross there, right?!
