How's it goin' everyone????? :D

I just recently purchased a brand new King Kutter Disc Harrow. It has 10 14 inch discs on it. The cutting width is 33 inches wide and it weighs 300 lbs.. I paid a little over $500.00 for it. So far I've made a few a passes with it and it works pretty darn well. The 61 Cub Cadet pulls it with ease on first and second gear. I'll be posting some pictures of it pretty soon. :D

Cub61,

I have looked at that disc at the local farm supply store and was wondering if our Cubs could handle it. It is very well build and has the weight, I think to do a very good job of disking. I would like to see pictures of it in operation.

Thanks and V/r!

PS: I will take pictures of the wire in the plywood and send them today.

How's it goin' Froghunter???? :D

Actually the 61 Cub Cadet pulls it very easy on 1st & 2nd gear at half throttle. I took some pictures of my brothers garden after making a few passes with the King Kutter and I'll be posting those pretty soon. I have'nt took any pics of the disc harrow in action, because it's kinda hard being the tractor driver and the photographer at the same time. But hopefully I'll get my brother to take the shots while I'm plowing. So you can see what kind of work it does. I'm pretty pleased with it. But I do have a question though. Do you know how to convert the hand crank type trailer jack into an electric type trailer jack??? It would be pretty nice to have the ability to lower and raise the disc harrow with a toggle switch. It does'nt seem hard to change, it's just that I don't know where to find an electric trailer jack that will fit it. Any ideas will be helpful. :D
