My local Napa is having a filter sale. Going in to stock up. Hopefully it is nation wide and not a local thing.
It's a government entity subsidized by our tax dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JMHO Stan.................... I never can figure out how the USPS is still in business!
Yes, the United States Postal Service (USPS) is a federal entity, specifically an independent agency of the executive branch of the U.S. federal government, responsible for providing mail service within the United States. However, while it is a federal entity, it is also a government-business hybrid that is self-funded through the sale of postage, products, and services, rather than from tax dollars. It's a government entity subsidized by our tax dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From all I've seen and heard it does not generate enough cash flow to be self sufficient so the shortfall has to come from somewhere and the only source available is the federal government. In researching whether the USPS receives any funding from the federal government, a lot of weasel words are used in describing that financial relationship.
