My New Disc Harrow - Please ID

Micah:

As Mike, David, Dan and a few others have said, it is definitely a modified Horse Drawn implement with the tree replaced by a home-brew hitch. I know I have one very similiar to it except is is 1 disc larger. Your Cub will have no problem lifting it as it is substantially lighter than mine. Just be careful untill you become used to it as modified implements usually weight more and can cause the front to come up a bit. You will have to disc the garden at least twice... :big shy: but then again, I usually figure twice is just a warm up. :big smile: I like seat time, I get to think in peace and quiet, so seat time is valuable me time and I make the most of it.

Now for the quadrant. I have a feeling Mike may be right. He ususally is on these King and JB implements. If it is mild steel then his fix works. If not, I have a bunch of quadrants from horse drawn implements that may be of help. Trace yours, send me the tracing and I will find one that matches hopefully.

Nice find your Dad made... keep it up these are nice implements and work well until/if we can get Cub engineered ones to replace.

I think it is the rear section of a tandem disc because the angle is wrong for cutting it is mean to cover what has been cut, probably was horse drawn however.
