Well I had been on the search for a tiller for the 108 and found one. The fella did not have the time to remove the gear box from the tractor it was on though. So I asked what he wanted for the tractor and tiller. Wasn't much more than I was expecting to pay for the tiller so I brought home a "free" 125 with my tiller. Both need a little work nothing that looks to bad. Pto clutch, battery and a carb rebuild on tractor. Runs like a top otherwise. Tiller only had one extension so I'd like to find another and the large pulley needs to be replaced. I plan on keeping the 125 now after hearing it run and just leaving the tiller attached. Fella had a Brinley plow I had thrown in for a few extra that I'll let the 108 tug around. Should have the Brinley portion of the 108's lift showing up this coming week. Got the whole package for $350 how'd I do? Didn't think it was to bad considering tractor is running as well as it seems to be.

That was my intention as well. I installed a creeper on the 108 for tilling. But since this new fella is running so well I may just leave the tiller on him permanently and just fix the couple issues he has (actually ordered the "new" pto clutch already original had crack in the pulley). My sleeve hitch is showing up this week so I'll see if I can get the 108 to pull the brinley plow. I also have a deck and push blade for the 108 so there should still be plenty of chores for it to do without tilling.
Right now I need to get the 108 running a little smoother as well. Hoping it just some carb fine tuning. Have some exhaust back fires and sounds like a miss every now and again. I have to run at 1/2 to full throttle, it doesn't want to go into an idle.
As far as tiller parts think I will have any luck finding an extra extension since it only has one side extended? is the pulley a tough find or is there an aftermarket that I can put on it?

Dang! You did real well. :beer: I paid $350 for a not-running 125 which came with a sorry looking deck not too long ago. When I got it running, I soon discovered that it smoked and rapped. I wasn't expecting that from a "restored" tractor. Also, I am picking up a tiller and gearbox next week. He wants $400 with the gearbox and lift mechanism. Not too bad, but my dog and I have about a 2.5 hour trip to get it.
