A little update.
It's slow going working by yourself but it's getting there. Steven, 7 was a great help today putting up siding on 2 walls. He held the correct height while I nailed, must faster with a helper :!:

So I guess you haven't been getting the rain like we have here.
Eight inches this weekend, most of it today. :D :D :D :) :)

Not much rain here, only about .25" all weekend. I have been watching the Dallas area and you're getting hammered :!:

Jim I hope you have a boat handy :?:
My wife nearly needed one yesterday. She spent the day at the Quilt Show in Dallas. She parked at the high end of the parking lot beside the building. Everybody that had parked across the street ended up with a flooded car. They coldn't find a couple cars and think they floated away. Without the water, it isn't obvious there is much elevation difference between the 2 lots.

Jim it doesn't suprise me that your wifs car was high and dry awhile others were not. She has to have had a great deal ow wisdom which was augmented by more be osmosis from you. A perceiving, practical woman is a pleasure to be with.

Hey Donny...Looks GREAT! Looks like ya could have an old fashioned barn roof-raising at "Texas Tumble"?

Am I to assume that the 2nd story of your barn is your NEW office area, or is it supposed to be a hay loft? :?
