Veterans day is for all who served. Memorial Day is to remember all who died defending our country. Definitely nothing to be happy about. Most people see Memorial Day as just another holiday to party. Many don't think about those who never came home from war. If you go to any veteran's post you will seldom hear the word happy mentioned on Memorial Day.
